Big Time Rush The Big Time Rush, an
American pop group was founded in the year 2009. The group is comprised of
Kendall Schmidt and James Maslow along with Logan Henderson and Carlos
PenaVega. They signed initially with Nick Records in 2009. Then, Columbia
Records transferred them to their new label. The group was on Nickelodeon's
television series Big Time Rush. From November 28, 2009 to July 25 2013 the
show aired. The pilot episode featured the group’s first promo single,
"Big Time Rush". The band has released three albums, including BTR in
2010, Elevate in 2011 and 24/Seven in 2013. The group in 2014 was on break for
an indefinite time that ran until 2021. They then returned to live performances
and then released "Call it Like I See The Album". Nickelodeon has
signed Big Time Rush to a record deal in 2009 concurrently with the TV show Big
Time Rush. Nickelodeon collaborated with Columbia/Epic Label Group for
production and music that is original. The series' first single, "Big Time
Rush" was released on the 29th of November, 2009. Officially announced by
Nickelodeon in November 2009, the series was aired for the first time in the
US. It was then released internationally. It debuted during a one-hour special
preview of the series and is currently the show's main theme. Promo singles
such as "City is Ours", "Any Kind of Guy" and more were
released in the course of the series. Big Time Rush also performed the Play
song called "Famous". The song was released to iTunes on the 29th of
June, 2010, Following its series premiere Another song, "Halfway
There", was made available on iTunes on April 27 in 2010. The song quickly
became the first song to chart on Billboard Hot 100. Due to the digital sales
it climbed to number 93. The second single by Big Time Rush, "Till You
Forget About You", was released on September 21 in 2010. The purpose of
the release was to announce the release of their debut album. On the 11th of
October, 2010 the album, dubbed BTR it was released to the public. The album
debuted at the top of three on the Billboard 200. It sold 67,000 copies within
its first week.
