Emma Stone
Emily Jean "Emma" Stone was born on the 6th of November, 1988 in Scottsdale, Arizona to Krista Jean Stone (nee Yeager), an experienced homemaker and Jeffrey Charles "Jeff" Stone, a contracting company founder and CEO. She is of Swedish, German & British Isles descent. Stone began her acting career as a child in Phoenix's Valley Youth Theatre. There she performed her first stage performance in "The Wind in the Willows" by Kenneth Grahame. In her teens Stone was an active participant of numerous stage productions before she made the decision to pursue a career in acting. The official narrative is that she made a PowerPoint presentation, backed by Madonna's "Hollywood" and itself entitled "Project Hollywood", in an effort to convince her parents to let her leave school and move to Los Angeles. The presentation was successful, and she and her mom moved to LA after completing her education at home. There she would spend the day auditioning. She made her TV debut in 2004, when she was chosen to play the character of Laurie Partridge on the VH1 reality show In Search of the Partridge Family. This led to many small TV roles over the years following. Her first film role was Jules in Superbad (2007) and following a string of success, her main part in the film Olive in Easy A (2010) established her as a star. Her school was Xavier College Preparatory in Phoenix, Arizona. Although she is known as a redhead her actual color is blonde. It was Judd Apatow who suggested she switch her hair color to Superbad (2007) and she was so pleased with it that she decided to keep it. She convinced her parents to allow her to move to Hollywood at the age of 15 by creating a PowerPoint presentation with the title, Project Hollywood. When she was 11 years old she started her acting career at the Valley Youth Theatre, Phoenix, AZ. There, she appeared in 16 stage productions and was a part in the comedy troupe of improv. Caylee Cowan was also an actor at the Valley Youth Theatre.
