Allyson Felix

Allyson Michel Felix was born the 18th of November 1985 in Los Angeles. Paul Felix served as an ordinand at Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix displayed an early talent to play sports while in high school at Los Angeles Baptist High School. She discovered her sprinting ability at the time. Following her initial audition and placing in the top two at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships for the 200-meter sprint in only 10 weeks. In 2003, Felix graduated from high school and signed a professional deal with the sports company Adidas before enrolling at the University of Southern California where she was studying elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics held at Athens Greece. She set the Junior World Record running 200 metres in 22.18 seconds. In the 2005 Helsinki World Championships, Felix was the youngest world champion in running 200m. The following year, she won her title by beating Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed in the top three in all of her races in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
