Allyson Felix
Allyson Michel Felix was born the 18th of November 1985. She was born in Los Angeles. Paul Felix served as an ordinand in Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix discovered early that she had a talent in running while attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. A mere 10 weeks after the initial trial she took, she was ranked second in 200m at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix graduated from high school in 2003 and signed with Adidas an agreement as professional athlete. The following year she attended University of Southern California studying elementary education. One year later Felix was awarded her very first Olympic medal during the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece making the world junior record taking 200 metres in 22.18 seconds. At the 2005 Helsinki World Championships, Felix became the world's youngest champion for the distance of 200 meters. The following year, she defended the title in front of her Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix had a steady performance at Beijing, London Rio de Janeiro, as well as Tokyo. She always finished in the top three of every event.
